about the book

7/16/2016

In this book, I wish to immerse myself in dazzling beauty. I am not interested in framing and then delving into a world driven by creature comforts, social power, or survival (as characteristically is the case in fiction works). Rather, I desire to flesh out a society and a set of circumstances that inspire me: a landscape of being and living that in effect celebrates the best within us. And yes, the story will be fraught with danger and challenge.
At this stage, I have but notes and a tentative outline.
By way of details, there is little I care to share at this point. This book, possibly a first in a series, is going to depict a very young world with sparse population, something in the order of a few hundred or a few thousand people. I write "people," but in fact the society will be comprised of five humanoid species, who will form interesting and complex social units.
   Stay tuned.
